Kindness

Kindness: being willing to risk having no friends because your kind to everybody. Even those who may not be best dressed or athletically gifted or that sociable.

I remember a time somebody was kind to me, it was when I was bullied in 4th grade and someone befriended me. If she hadn't of befriended me I probably would've taken my life from sadness.

A time I was kind to someone was when I stood up to [someone] trying to be mean to one of my friends who is very loud yet a really awesome person. And he thought it would be okay to tell her she was annoying and loud and stupid. I however didn't think it was okay. So I stood up for her.

Wilbur Wilberforce

William Wilberforce (1759 -1833): The Politician. William Wilberforce was an English politician who became the voice of the abolition movement in Parliament. He fought for years to get the people of England to stop using Africans for slaves. He fought long and hard for 20 years to abolish slavery.
He persevered and never once thought of quitting. Because of him, African Americans no longer are used like cattle in England. Even though he was sick with gastrointestinal illnesses during the whole period of debating and speeches. Although he had episodes of horrible stomachaches, he kept fighting because he never wanted to make the same mistake as John Newton and also because he knew it was wrong to sell humans. He was a Christian, which shows that he had his eyes on The Lord at all times.
He married, Barbara Spooner Wilberforce and had two or three children. Although William died in July 29, 1833, his impact is still on me.

  Often, William Wilberforce would say:

“You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know.”

Making a Connection

Being that there are 5 pillars of Islam, and in Adventism there are 10 commandments, I find it easy to compare and contrast these to make a connection between Islam and Adventism. By sharing how similar our beliefs are I believe it will be easy to reach a Muslim. By telling them how: I also believe in one true God, how prayer is also very vital to me and the others that practice my denomination, also how we have our own way of alms. Which we call tithes of course. How fasting is also a key part in our denomination. Lastly, how we in a way make a pilgrimage, every Sabbath, to church.
Just like how the mosque is sacred to the Muslims, church is sacred to us Adventists. Just by simply showing how similar our beliefs are, I truly believe I can reach a Muslim.

My Planet Getaway

I would like to go to Mars because I know some scientists have said that they found plant life or evidence of life at all. I would like to go see for myself if there's evidence of life at all. And also because, the first four letters of my name spells Mars. That's why I choose Mars.
Also because I wouldn't mind gathering some dirt or a few rocks. Maybe even climb one of the mountains on Mars.
I think it would be really cool to be able to walk on Mars because its the red planet. And it's so different from Earth. Just to be able to explore and learn more about Mars. I would like that.

Letter for consultant position

To whom it may concern:

My name is Marshae' S. Kirkpatrick and I would be the best consultant at your place of business because, your consumers/customers/clients are in my age group and you could say that I know what the people prefer. And I am socially active and I could have the people in my circle take polls and then have them give the people in their circles take polls and possibly start a chain reaction.
This is what would make me a good choice for a consultant.

Sincerely,
Marshae' S. Kirkpatrick

Types of Gardens by Marshae' & Tiffany

You may think that there is only one type of garden. The type where you just plant flowers or vegetables. But there happens to be more than one. Here are a few examples:

-Raised bed gardens:soil is more manageable when its not at ground level.

-Grow cucumbers vertically:

-Grow spinach vertically

-Integrate vegetables into your flower beds:organic gardened often pair two different vegetables to grow side-by-side because they compliment each other.

-Seed starter pots from newspaper

-Seed starter pots from toilet paper rolls

-Self watering starter pots from plastic soda containers: This is a slightly sturdier version of its newspaper cousin – although you probably won’t have as much raw material on hand. Cut each cardboard toilet paper roll center in half and flatten it. Cut four half-inch slices on one end, where two of them are along the creases of the flattened tube. Open the roll and fold all four flaps inward to create an open-top box. Fill it with starter soil. It will also biodegrade, but be sure to open the bottom flaps before planting.
-Hydroponic seed starters

-Grow bags

-Garbage bags

Clown House

The most appropriate house for a clown would be a gigantic red and white tent. With all the livestock living in a barn in the backyard. For example, he would have all his elephants, lions, seals, dogs, and cats right in the backyard.
Every Sunday, he would easily be able to entertain his friends.
